COMMUNITY ACCESS PROGRAM (CAP)
WHAT IS CAP?
The Hearst Public Library CAP site now has 6 public workstations with printers and Internet training sessions are available when CAP interns are employed. The Community Access Program (CAP) is a Government of Canada initiative, administered by Industry Canada . It aims to provide Canadians with affordable public access to the Internet and the skills they need to use it effectively. |
CAP SITE OBJECTIVES :
-Promote the benefits of using the Internet
-Help develop computer skills
-Access to government services and programs
-Promote communication

LIBRARY HOURS
Monday – Thursday 10 am to 5:30 pm
Friday 10 am to 9 pm
Saturday 10 am to 4 pm |
RULES FOR COMPUTER USE
1. You must sign-in at the circulation desk
2. Children under 12 years of age must be supervised by an adult
3. A maximum of 2 people per computer
Users are not allowed to:
Chat
Drink or eat
View explicit or violent sites
